Savana
Savana are a North Staffordshire charity who’ve supported survivors of sexual assault or abuse since 1986. They provide free counselling and support services within Staffordshire for anyone who has been affected by sexual assault or abuse.
Challenge
Savana's current brand identity was confusing; they needed a rebrand to help clarify who they are and what they do and to reflect their growing organisation. Along with rebranding, the charity wanted to raise more awareness of its services and establish a stronger voice.
Solution
To diagnose the charity's DNA, we delivered a brand workshop so the team could fully understand Savana's values, USPs and personality. A new logo, colour palette, bold new font, and powerful new strapline were created to better encapsulate the charity's purpose and mission. The sunrise running through the new logo emphasises the charity's support of its clients and the transition from darker to brighter places. The bold font and strong colours represent the strength of the charity's clients, volunteers and staff.
Results
The new, bold identity creation tells the story of who Savana are, as does their powerful new strapline: 'Breaking the silence. Changing lives.' Their new branding can be seen across all new marketing materials, including service leaflets, a brand book, social media graphics, large format print pull-up banners, and business cards.
